As a Production Engineer for Shipbuilding Electrical at L&T Kattupalli yard, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing material flow (raising Material Requisitions & follow-ups, tracking, coordination, and identifying shortfalls before fabrication).
2. Overseeing day-to-day production supervision, quality control, daily consumable requirements, safety compliance, machinery maintenance, and scheduling.
3. Carrying out QA & QC inspections and correspondences for hot works such as cable trays, supports, foundations, cable installation, termination, and testing.
4. Documenting and reporting revisions, rejections, and rework to concerned departments to identify the root cause of issues.
5. Preparing Quality Management System (QMS) related documentation.
6. Preparing commissioning-related documents and providing on-ground commissioning support.
7. Capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement in execution.
8. Ensuring strict compliance with safety and quality norms established for the shipyard.
9. Managing subcontractor manpower and enforcing adherence to project timelines and execution schedules.
10. Ensuring smooth workflow and seamless coordination across inter-departmental teams.
